Congratulations on your pregnancy!! The time has finally come. The day you have been dreaming of since you were a little girl. Remember playing with your dolly, dressing her up, and feeding her?? You will wonder why your mother forgot to tell you about all the weird things that happen when you’re pregnant. Let me assure you, they are good, healthy and completely normal. You most likely have so many questions and worries about your pregnancy and the birth of your baby. As anxious and exciting as this moment is, just remember to take pleasure in this moment as much as you can. (Even between the possible morning sickness and the constant trip to the ladies room.) This is going to be the most breathtaking, and at the same time, perplexing time in your life. Pregnancy brings on a great deal of changes you never thought were possible. From loving everything dipped in peanut butter while you’re pregnant, to hating the smell of your once loved morning cup of coffee you had prior to becoming pregnant. The opposite remains the same after the birth of your baby. Geez, and that’s just cravings. We understand, we’ve been there, and no, you are not crazy. It’s perfectly typical to have the cravings, to be scared, and have those mood swings every so often, and sometimes even more often than that.  Pregnancy makes you free room and board for nine months.   Let me add, there are   numerous positives to pregnancy that you never would have imagined.  This is an unbelievable time in your life, an experience only shared with a mother and her baby. Every movement and kick (and even the occasional elbow to the bladder) will be felt by you. No one else will experience this kind of bond with your child but you. Once you give birth and see your baby for the first time you will then realize, pregnancy is totally worth it.
